Painting Your New House From Scratch In Harrisburg, PA with Just Add Paint. Leave New Construction Painting To The Professionals…

Painting an existing home can be challenging, but it is a place you can save yourself BUNDLES of money if you have the time and patience. If you aren’t sure if doing your own painting is best for you, try your skills in a bedroom as see how it goes. One place we do NOT recommending trying to save money painting is when you are buying a new home. This is exponentially more difficult and requires many expensive tools that most people don’t own, as well as a skill set that takes years to develop.

Here is a partial list of items Just Add Paint used to complete a new construction project in Harrisburg, PA

-Graco 695 Sprayer with 617, 211, and 313 (trusted name in sprayers, high performance for optimal production)

-Graco HVPL Fine Finish Sprayer  (trusted name, for items that need more attention to detail)

-Festool Dustless HEPA Vac (there is plenty of dust around… why add more when you don’t have to)?

-Full Circle Radius 360 Sanding Disc (when large areas of sanding are required, higher surface area than a standard pole sander)

-24 Ft Werner Ladder (we needed every inch of this thing on this one, it was a long way down)

-3M Respirators (safety first)

-Sherwin Williams Quick Dry Spackle Paste (gets the job done with minimal shrinkage)

-Sherwin Williams Shermax Elastomeric Caulk ($1.00 more than regular caulk, well worth it for piece of mind and minimizing chances of caulk cracking out)

-Frog tape (green and yellow delicate surface used – better safe than sorry)

-Bercom Handy Paint Tray and Handy Pail (high capacity for less refilling of tray, plus a fun magnet to hold your brush)

-Microfiber Roller Covers (Wooster and Arroworthy high capacity, among others on this project)

-Proform, Wooster, and Purdy Brushes (Everybody likes something different in this area. Typically we believe you get what you pay for…)

-Sherwin Williams Paints (Contractor’s primer, Promar 200 0-VOC, and Cashmere. Workhorse primer, bases from Promar have great coverage, can’t go wrong with Cashmere)

-XIM Latex Extender (less texture = less problems

-Keurig Coffee Maker (Cane Sugar and Italian Sweet Cream) -FUEL
